Dawson Wade

Dawson Wade was born in VA ca 1741 and died at Mt. Sterling in Montgomery County, Kentucky on December 10, 1819. Married to Rachel (Burnsides) and later to Abigail Alexander. He was the son of John and Elizabeth Wade.

He saw service as scout for Botetourt Co. Virgini militia and served under Captain Looney, participating in the Battle of Pt. Pleasant.
